Privacy Policy
What we collect. Your account details (email, display name), the journal entries and photos you create, and business information you submit for listings.
How it's used. To run your journal, show your shared entries in the Society feed, and connect collectors with verified businesses. We never sell personal data and never show third-party advertising.
Where it lives. Data is stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) in the Singapore region, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your controls. Entries are private unless you share them. You can delete any entry, or your entire account, from Settings — deletion is immediate and permanent.

Terms of Service
The service. The Durian Society is a journal and discovery platform. Listings, scores and availability are provided by the community and by businesses; verify details before you travel or pay.
Your content. You own your entries and photos. By sharing to the feed you grant the Society a licence to display them within the app.
Bookings. Visit requests are agreements between you and the business. The Society facilitates the introduction and is not a party to the transaction.
Conduct. Follow the Community Guidelines. Accounts that post fraudulent listings or abusive content will be removed.

Community Guidelines
A Society of honest palates.
Score what you tasted. Honest entries are the currency of the Society. Never score fruit you haven't eaten.
Respect the growers. Critique the fruit, not the farmer. A bad durian is a bad day, not a bad orchard.
Real photos only. Post your own photography of your own tastings.
No spam or self-dealing. Businesses represent themselves through verified listings, not disguised reviews.
Report, don't retaliate. Use the report tools — the Society reviews every flag.
